Epic reactions often follows drastic actions... and this unexpected consequence is what has just hit the P-Square franchise.
After the recent full blown out misunderstanding between the P'Square brothers Peter and Paul Okoye, and their ex-manager Jude Okoye few days ago, Nigeria’s biggest telecommunications company Globacom has stated that they will not be renewing P-Square’s mouth watering contract as one the telecom giant's brand ambassador.
In a chat with Naij.com, a top manager in GLO disclosed that the decision was taken due to the show of shame that ensued between the company’s representatives and Peter, one half of the P-Square twins during the grand finale of the 'Dance with Peter' talent hunt show.
He also admitted that GLO had defaulted on some of its promises made as the sole sponsor of the show but expressed dissatisfaction on how Peter overreacted by insulting their hierarchy.
This grievance coupled with the dirty name dragging drama that followed few days later on social media platforms, where Peter openly fired his brother Jude Okoye online as their manger, has led the telecom Giant to reconsider renewing their contract with the popular music duo.
It was also gathered that when Mike Adenuga heard of the development, he felt embarrassed and gave the order.
